Ellen rails against boomcars

In her monologue Friday, Ellen DeGeneres talked about the upcoming Grammys and how she loves all music, except for the type she can hear from five cars back when she's driving.

I sent an email and told her that everyone who writes should start a petition of some kind to combat this extremely annoying issue. The boom cars are endemic where I live.

I'd thought of S. Jersey as the boomcar capital of the world, but later learned that EVERYWHERE is. When your head's made of solid cement, you need that kind of vibration to feel good. Lotsa cement heads these days.

I'm in South Florida and it is Boom Car Heaven(or should I say,hell?) tons of $500 cars with $1000 stereos. Karma will get them when they are stone deaf in 10 years;)

Problem is, they proudly state they're deaf as an explanation/excuse for their continued loud ways.

Their deafness just continues to bug US, not them.
