Verbal Threats of Death in Summerfield, Ok

Guys from the lumber yard came out this morning to deliver the new barn my mother bought, and before they had it on the ground, Belinda Wolfe came waddling over yelling at them to stop, and saying that the sheriff's were on the way..She came on to my property, and I told her several times to get off my property, and she would not go, so I removed her by shoving her off..She came back onto my property and I shoved her off again..Then she said she wanted her shoe, which was still on my property..I picked it up and threw it off my property, and she came back on my property and started kicking my camera that I had laid down on the ground..and was trying to kick it over the property line or in that direction, so I stopped her by the only way I could..I grabbed a handful of her hair and shoved her off my property again and retrieved my camera, which was still on my property..Then I saw her cell phone, and I threw that off my property as well..
Two deputies came out later, and one of them took statements from the two men here that had seen and heard it all, as well as a statement from me..Then the other deputy took pictures of the barns and my mother's house, all of which are on my property, but the barns are on the other side of he property from her house..
Wayne Wolfe drove up then on the old roadbed, and said he was going to move the new barn himself, and he said this in the hearing of the deputies..Then he left, and then the deputies left..A little later, Belinda Wolfe's daughter drove up in my east entrance and started yelling at me as she was driving to the Gin Hole store parking lot, saying I was going to get what was coming to me, and calling me names..She got out of her vehichle and continued yelling from the store lot that I was going to get what was coming to me, and that I would be carried out on a stretcher, and then she said it again, but changed the last part to that I would be carried out in a hearse because I would be dead..
I called the sheriff's office and reported the verbal threats, and one of the deputies that was here before was supposed to come back and get statements from us, but so far I haven't seen him..

What is their problem? You obviously live in a rural area, why do they object to a barn on your own property? The actions of your crazy NsFH never cease to amaze me. Boy do they have some karma coming - make it quick please!!!!

Well, you seem to have grounds for trespassing and property damage, but I think most courts would view the physical attacks as mutual combat and hold both parties responsible. You probably already have protective orders, but this will certainly extend their lifespan and if nothing else you can nail her on a violation of any current protective order(s).

It may be time to look into self-defense classes. Many forms of martial arts will teach you how to put someone convincingly down on the ground with the smallest amount of force necessary. Alternatively, learning how to properly operate a firearm and making sure your NFH know that further attacks on your person will be taken with the utmost seriousness will send a message even they can understand.

Now, I personally don't like guns and won't have them around me, and I can count the number of fights I've been in on one hand and still do arithmetic. However, some people don't understand anything other than the Law of Club and Fang, to quote a phrase, and I know you've tried every other option under the sun. I don't advocate kicking someone's teeth in or ventilating them, but it's all about risk and reward with these people. If you can exponentially increase the risk they run (eating steak through a straw / death) for a comparatively small reward, then they will probably give up or at least take their aggression down a few notches.

What has led up to the Wolfe's being so adamant against you having barns? Why would Belinda Wolfe call the deputies as the barn was being delivered?

It sounds like this may be a property line dispute from what was told here, but there is no way of knowing without Barbara filling us in.

Considering the amount of crap you've gone thru with these psychos I'm amazed you don't have security cams 24/7.
Local law enforcement/gov't doesn't give a crap, it's time to move on to state & fed. Call the media & get your story out there, it might just get the law/gov't off their asses.
I agree with LotD, the NsFH (& local law) will remain the same until doing so becomes too costly.
Protect yourself, they've already proven to be mentally unstable.

Their behavior might end up being too costly if you get your story out to the media. It might hurt their business enough to shut their store down, and maybe, just maybe they'll sell the place and move.

I was reading about the Elison situation and found a link to this forum.

Ms. Ellison was arrested Tuedsay, but is safe at home, for now. When she goes to court, I'm afraid she might have to spend time in jail, and if she goes to jail, I'd be very concerned for her safety while she's in there.

Barbara Ellison called the s.o. several times when the NsFH were destroying her property or threatening physical harm to her or her mother, but they were never arrested.

Elected officials in this county want Barbara to 'shut up' because her shouts for justice have uncovered forgeries and theft, fraud and bank fraud, and other crimes which the district attorney's office refuses to investigate, let alone prosecute. Why? Because the NsFH are related to the assistant district attorney and heaven only knows who else in the courthouse.

No local news media will write a story about Barbara's terrible ordeal. The local paper is controlled by the corrupt officials.

HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN?

This brief story began more than two years ago, shortly before a disagreement over the location of a property line in the small community of Summerfield, Oklahoma between Barbara Ellison and the Wayne Wolfe family occurred. Long before they built a fence that blocked Ms. Ellison’s access to her home by way of her own driveway.

With a lot of determination, Ms Ellison has diligently searched court house records and satisfactorily proven that the part of the property the Wolfe family claims as theirs is in fact her own, and another part of the property claimed by the Wolfe family belongs to LeFlore County as it is the original road easement that has never been released to anyone.

Because of Ms. Ellison’s determination to not give up any part of her homestead, the disagreement escalated to trespassing on and destruction of Ms. Ellison’s private property by the Wolfe family and others, and intimidation, harassment, and threats by the Wolfe family and others toward Ms. Ellison, who’s 74 year old mother also lives on the property.

Ms. Ellison has made numerous complaints to the LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office to no avail and the offenses continued until she felt she had to take matters into her own hands and physically removed Belinda Wolfe, wife of Wayne Wolfe, from her property which resulted in she herself being arrested for “Assault and Battery”. To make matters worse for Ms. Ellison, a mean-spirited person just **happened** to be at the court house with a camera . Pictures were taken of her being led handcuffed into the court house and these pictures were published on the internet. Ms Ellison is scheduled to appear in Court on November 16, 2005 to answer these charges.
