I know I wasn't quite as clear on my previous post as I should have been. The small claims case happened on 02/02/10...the judge "took it under advisement" (and even said that any evidence presented would be available for us to pick up thirty days hence). Today makes day 29...if I can retrieve my evidence tomorrow, why hasn't a judgment been issued yet?
My hope is that, just like jury trials, the longer a judgment takes, the more favorable it is for the defendant.
The NFH perjured himself several times, unfortunately I didn't realize it until we were headed home. I so wish I could bring that to the judges attention. This falls under the "shoulda, coulda, woulda...."
