Bob is a former news reporter (Philadelphia Inquirer, Associated Press and others) who now serves as the public information officer with Whitemarsh Township, just northwest of Philadelphia. He is a board member with the Philadelphia Anti-Violence Partnership, and a former board member with the Queen Village Neighbors Association in Philadelphia. He has worked with police in and around Philadelphia on neighbor dispute cases and quality-of-life community policing.
In the 1990s he owned and operated a pioneering Internet service firm, Consolidated Creators, serving media and corporate clients; another enterprise he established was a high-end produce and prepared food store, called Heights Crossing, built into an historic suburban train station. His corporate posts include assistant vice president of communications with PNC Bank, and communications consultant with CIGNA Corporation.
His most important writing project is Neighbors From Hell, a nonfiction guide book currently in the publishing process. The book's companion web site is a global support resource, and Bob counsels people online in dealing with today's brand of rotten neighbor. To promote the forthcoming book he makes regular radio and television appearances, and also consults with the media in their coverage of this growing social problem.
